Broadridge is hiring! The Associate - Imaging Solutions responsibilities include physical document and check scanning services for client review and deposit. The BPO Scanning Services team manages the receipt of physical mail from client customers, sorts and prepares the documents or checks received for scanning based on client requirements and scans the documents into a Broadridge software solution which are then delivered as images via an automated process to clients. Exceptions identified or communicated to the team from clients are managed based on individual client requirements and procedures. The Scanning Services team is responsible for tracking and reporting on contractual service level agreements, key business indicators and adhering to the contractual scope of services and general control framework of BPO (Detailed Function List, Business Continuity Plan management, and ongoing Risk Management). Our success is derived from our ability to gain efficiencies from streamlined processes supporting a predefined workflow, our integration with other Broadridge solutions, and our constant focus on effective risk management.

This role is considered 100% onsite. You would be required to report into the Newark, NJ office 5 days a week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Using various criteria and controls to analyze/scan various documents and physical checks for client review
- Extensive communication with various internal team members and external clients
- Liaising with the outsourcing middle office personnel to effect efficient scanning/rejecting/returning of physical checks
- Reconciliation of all checks received, scanned, returned and destroyed
- Process appropriate scanning in accordance with Firm guidelines
- Ensure regulatory compliance with all industry regulations
- Developing a detailed understanding of all aspects of the workflow process to allow associates to rotate responsibilities based on need
- Development of tactical solutions to increase efficiency and process transparency
- Liaise with senior managers in Operations, technology and the Business to develop strategic solutions
- Learns and applies "check handling "Clearing policies and procedures
- Provides Customer support and resolution on workflow/transaction issues
- Works on special projects as needed
- 100% on-site at Newark location
- Bachelor's degree required
- At least 1-2 years of work experience in Operations or related field
- Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
- Equity product knowledge

- Hourly Rate: $23 - $25 per hour depending on experience
- Bonus Eligibility: Annual bonus
