WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will be the primary Finance point of contact for BCG Tashkent leadership team, in order ensure business support is adequate and compliance at all levels is duly addressed. You will have full supervision on client contracting, invoicing and DSO, participation in local accounting, tax reporting, treasury always in coordination with our Finance Hub based in Baku and ensuring alignment at broad EMC (East Mediterranean and Caspian) level.
You will also ensure BCG Tashkent office is compliant with local regulations and company's global policies, and overseeing risk management, process reengineering, and policy development.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Business partnering with local Leadership Team to provide financial reporting relevant to steering the business, client contract reviewing, tender support and managing/controlling local office DSO;

Assisting Accounting and Operations hub (Baku) with an outsourced tax services provider in review of CIT computations and VAT declarations, issuing VAT invoices to clients in the local electronic system;
Reviewing Tashkent-related financial reporting outputs produced by the Accounting and Operations hub for accuracy;
Participating in tax audits and respond to tax authorities' requests with input from the Global Tax Team and external advisors;
Preparing cash forecasting (short-term and longer-term);
Proactively identifying and addressing areas for improvement within the local accounting processes to gain efficiencies;
Ensuring risk exposure is proactively managed within the function.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Relevant prior experience (at least 6 years) in a multinational company (preferably professional services firm environment) within the Finance Department;
University degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance;
Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint; Oracle will be considered a plus;
Very good communication skills, both written and oral in Uzbeki, Russian and English;
Familiarity with US GAAP requirements and with statutory and tax reporting, financial and tax practices in Uzbekistan;
Proactive approach, strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy - particularly when under pressure;
Good business judgment, ability to see potential second order effects;
Ability to respond to sudden shifts in priorities and direction and deal with ambiguity;
Attitude to excel in a large international company culture while functioning in a small local team.
