BCG Lisbon Capability Center (LCC) is an exciting new office that will execute best-in-class operations, serving the broader BCG business. LCC will be a hub for regional and global functional teams to be co-located in a dynamic and engaging space, enabling team members to connect with and serve our BCG and client customer base. This diverse set of business services teams will cover functions such as administrative support, talent acquisition, finance and many other. The office is expected to expand its employee base significantly over the next few years. LCC will be a part of global Enterprise Services organization
IN THE ROLE YOU WILL:

Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, ensure preparation of official documents and filings required by local laws
Manage annual audit process
Ultimately responsible for ensuring tax compliance of LCC:
Oversee treasury management and local externally provided payroll
Initially set up operational financial processes of LCC under the supervision of BCG Portugal finance team and BCG global finance expert teams
Manage relationship with external advisors and vendors that provide local finance services
Ensure appropriate policies are in place and monitored and global policies are adhered to
Cooperate with BCG global finance organizations on shared services support provided to the hub (e.g., accounts payable and expense auditing processes)
Maintain proper set up of LCC in internal financial systems and cooperate with systems teams to make required amendments
Act as one of signatories for LCC contracts and invoices and perform associated controlling activities
Optimize Performance and Partnering with Local Leadership:
Provide insight to support timely business decisions, identify potential options and support the execution of local initiatives in LCC
Continuously optimize financial operations of LCC - ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of LCC finance operations
Work closely with local leadership on financial matters of running LCC
Partner with BCG Portugal finance team to exchange on the best practices and optimal ways of running finance operations
Cooperate with Enterprise Services finance team on Finance Planning & Analytics topics, ensure alignment on key financial KPIs and metrics
Cooperate with central accounting team on matters related to corporate compliance and reporting
Cooperate with global risk team as needed for global risk reviews procedures
YOU'RE GOOD AT
The Finance Operations Senior Manager will lead BCG's LCC Office finance function. The main role of the Senior Finance Manager will be to run all financial operations and ensure finance compliance of BCG LCC. In the role, you will also collaborate with Global BCG Finance organization to ensure BCG LCC is embedded in all global financial processes.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Chartered Portuguese Accountant (mandatory)
A minimum of 7-8 years of finance-related experience, Bachelor / Masters degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience & responsibility for statutory compliance in Portugal (tax filings, other statutory-filings)
Experience with running finance operations of the entity (accounting, treasury)
Experience of managing the network of external and internal providers of financial services (payroll, tax advisory, audit, etc.)
* Advanced Portuguese and English language skills; ability to communicate in both languages in international business environment
