Practice Area Profile

What You'll Do

In this role, you will be primarily staffed on BCG client projects. You will join teams to design and execute consumer insight research, interpret its results and ensure full and appropriate integration into recommendations to clients. You will provide support for our client work to define/refine research plan to meet the projects' overall objectives, to organize or supervises research execution, to participate in the research as appropriate, and to analyze results from research, extracts after identifying overall trends and communicates findings and insights. You will also support project teams on consumer related work, e.g. Customer Centricity, Consumer Insights, hold ownership of consumer research module in projects.

In addition to participating in client projects, you will contribute to the other activities such as managing Center for Consumer Insight (CCI) China' proprietary database development and report publications, validation of new research approaches, vendor qualification and management, and training BCG's staff on market research tools and techniques.

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

8+ years of successful professional experience in consulting, consumer research firms renowned for their expertise in the domain. Consulting firm experience on consumer related topic, or combination of experience with research agencies and FMCG/CPG companies will be preferred
Expert knowledge in consumer and market research techniques both qualitative and quantitative (e.g.Data Modeling, Conjoint Analysis, Maxdiff Analysis, Clustering Models, Customer Segmentation Analysis), as well as hands-on expertise in working with statistical tools such as SPSS
Strong business sense, communication and interpersonal skills
Native or near-native Mandarin, high-proficiency English
