The Respiratory Care Manager will be responsible for:
To qualify, you must have:
- Managing the respiratory care and ECMO operations of the department.
- Providing direction and assistance to subordinate staff in both clinical and supervisory areas.
- Developing and/or implementing department quality improvement programs and initiatives, policy and procedure manuals and attendant clinical practice guidelines, and all educational programs.
- Providing direct and consultative respiratory care and ECMO in various clinical settings.
- Making recommendations for the operational and capital budgets.
To qualify, you must have:
- AS degree in Respiratory Therapy plus a BS degree in a complementary field, or a BS degree in Respiratory Therapy, MS degree preferred, and five to six years of related experience with a minimum of three years being in a pediatric specialty.
- One to two years of supervisory experience required.
- Completion of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation training with one to two years.
- Current state licensure and registration by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Public Health, Board of Registration in Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Current registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Current registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Neonatal-Pediatric Specialist.
