We are seeking a Quantitative Researcher to apply rigorous quantitative research and analytics to inform business strategies, identify growth opportunities, and improve marketplace efficiency. Sitting at the intersection of data science, behavioral research, and commercial strategy, this role will help shape Booking.com's approach to demand forecasting, user behavior analysis, and product-market fit.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead quantitative research to uncover user behavior patterns, purchase drivers, and growth opportunities.
- Identify and evaluate key company growth levers-pricing, promotions, supply-demand balance, customer retention, marketing, or product changes.
- Translate research findings into actionable insights that inform corporate & market strategy, and product & design decisions.
- Partner with product managers, data scientists, marketing teams, and commercial leaders to drive strategic, data-backed initiatives.
- Advocate for user needs by clearly communicating research findings and recommendations to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Drive innovation by finding opportunities for new product and feature development based on user insights.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in quantitative research, data analysis, commercial strategy, revenue growth management, supply chain forecasting, or a similar role, with a proven track record of leading complex research projects, ideally with a focus on consumer-facing products and services.
- Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis.
- Required data analysis experience using SQL and Python to interpret complex datasets, derive insights, and enable data-driven decision-making. Advanced knowledge of either SQL and Python is mandatory.
- Ability to translate research insights into commercial impact and guide strategic decision-making.
- Familiarity with customer segmentation techniques and their application in commercial growth.
- Experience in defining UX-oriented metrics and run in product experiments to test, validate, and improve these metrics
- Strong collaboration influence, presentation, and negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across different functions.
- Experience triangulating market data and internal data to identify growth opportunities.
- Experience working in fast-paced, international environments is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Cognitive Science, Psychology, or a related field.
