We are actively seeking client-facing sales professionals with a proven successful track record of managing an assigned territory to help identify, develop, and own client relationships. As the world's largest asset manager, BlackRock has product and solution offerings for almost any investor's needs. In this role, you will be directly responsible for representing BlackRock's retirement business and delivering the full capability of the firm to retail Wirehouse, RIA and Independent advisors along with key record keeper partners. This role is based in Boston - with occasional territory travel.
Business Description:
BlackRock's US Wealth Advisory ("USWA") business manages the firm's relationships with US retail investors and financial advisors. Representing a full suite of strategies from Model Portfolios, iShares ETFs, and mutual funds to Alternatives, SMAs, and sub-advisory relationships. USWAs mandate is to deliver One BlackRock to retail.

Role Description:
BlackRock Retirement Specialists in US Wealth Advisory are responsible for accelerating the growth of BlackRock retirement product solutions spanning LifePath, Collective Investment Trusts, Co-Manufactured Products and MF solutions. The scope of their role includes three core elements:
1. In partnership with a Defined Contribution Consultant (External Wholesaler) drive deeper commercial results and expand relationships with the largest fastest growing retirement financial advisors.
2. Each Retirement Specialist is focused on cultivating new relationships across their discrete client focus list to deliver new client relationships with the next generation of the largest and fastest growing retirement financial advisors.
3. Partner closely with key COIs across our record keeper partners to create leverage and uncover new commercial opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Embrace technology, data-driven targeted sales leads and the BlackRock selling system to execute virtual client engagements
- Uncover client needs and deploy the appropriate products, solutions or resources
- Demonstrate mastery of BlackRock's products, solutions, thought leadership and digital platform
- Identify and develop relationships with the current and next generation of largest and fastest growing retirement financial advisors
- Build an efficient and thoughtful strategy to maximize engagement and influence
- Embrace the firm's commitment to the client experience and exceed client contact expectations
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- CFP, CIMA, CAIA or CFA preferred
- Minimum 3+ years in asset management sales
- Strong financial services background with knowledge of investment trends and advisor practices
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong sales, partnership, and organizational skills, including profiling and resource deployment
- Mastery of virtual engagement technology including Webex and Zoom
- NASD Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) required, willingness to obtain within first few months of employment if candidate does not hold both
- Clean U-4
For Boston, MA Only the salary range for this position is USD$100,000.00 - USD$110,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
