Your Team

Our mission within the Client Experience (CX) organization is to make it easier for clients to do business with BlackRock, making service so simple it becomes a source of alpha. We are organized across 4 key pillars:

Client Experience Delivery, client-facing teams orchestrating all aspects of service delivery, and onboarding teams bringing new business onto our platform, Client Experience Wealth, differentiated capability for both Whole Portfolio and Wealth clients & products, respectively, Client Experience Operations, core client operations teams driving reporting, billing, and onboarding due diligence across the globe Client Experience Transformation, accelerating progress towards our CX mission via research and competitive insights, analytics, marketing, business and change management

The Reporting team isaccountable for all aspects of our clients' reporting experience, including the provision of market leading reporting solutions and effective client service. Responsibilities include successful delivery of critical functions every day and partnering with global colleagues to create and advance a globally aligned vision and business model.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver a superior client experience via front-line client service to clients and related third parties, including fielding and responding to client queries and the creation of accurate and meaningful ad hoc reports
  • Analyze trends in queries to constantly improve service and client deliverables
  • Understand flow of client, market and fund information across BlackRock and external data providers
  • Configure new client deliverables, maximizing the use of existing processes and tools facilitate bespoke report creation through analyzing and researching client, market and fund data and related information
  • Oversee and ensure timely and accurate distribution of all deliverables, proactively communicating potential delays to clients
  • Constantly evaluate systems, processes and procedures for inefficiencies and make recommendations for improvement
  • Support various projects, including automation/standardization efforts and the evolution of standard deliverables
  • Use data and feedback to help evolve report content and presentation
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and partners
  • Inspire colleagues and self to engage and excel in work and career; embrace a culture of excellence, innovation, communication and accountability, where all members of the team are motivated to go above and beyond and think globally
  • Understand the risk environment within the department - promote risk awareness, assessment and control

You have...

  • BS/BA in business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field. MBA or CFA welcomed.
  • Keen interest in investment products with 3-5+ years client service within financial services, particularly investment management or data visualization
  • Outstanding client service skills, maturity and judgment in dealing directly with clientele
  • Ability to manage change and improve business processes
  • Highly tuned analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to synthesize information, summarize issues and think creatively
  • Sharp control/risk mitigation mentality with high attention to detail and ability to know when to call out issues
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including intermediate to advanced level Excel skills (Pivot Tables, vLookups, macros, etc.) and a strong interest in and aptitude for learning new applications
  • Self-motivated: able to show initiative and come up with ideas without prompting
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)

For Wilmington, DE Only the salary range for this position is USD$61,750.00 - USD$82,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
