Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly analytical and execution focused Business Intelligence and Strategy Team member to join the Aladdin Client Business COO team at BlackRock. This role will play a critical part in enabling informed decision-making, providing strategic insights, and ensuring effective execution of key initiatives aligned with our growth strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence, analytics, and strategic planning within a software industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning
    • Develop Aladdin strategy, objectives, and priorities
    • Identify and measure success metrics for the organization
  • Data Driven Insights and Business Intelligence
    • Work with large business management data sets to uncover insights that drive organizational outcomes and inform business decisions
    • Translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
  • Project Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Manage and track large-scale strategic projects across cross-functional teams
  • Governance & Executive Communication
    • Establish and execute frameworks and processes to ensure accountability and achieve team and client objectives
  • Leadership Support
    • Prepare ad hoc analyses and presentations for senior leaders and stakeholders to support decision making
    • Write quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and talking points for senior leaders
  • Innovation
    • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency across the organization
    • Partner with leadership on executing the integration of the Preqin client management team

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years in COO/operations, management consulting, corporate strategy, FP&A, and/or financial modelling functions
  • Expert in Excel and Powerpoint with experience building Executive presentations and communicating with senior leadership
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, R, data analysis, and visualization (PowerBI a plus)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Understanding of SaaS/software business model and metrics
  • Highly organized with project execution experience from strategy to implementation
  • MBA or advanced degree in business, analytics, or related field
  • Interest in technology; knowledge of Aladdin beneficial

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$137,500.00 - USD$194,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Our hybrid work model
