Make Your Mark:

As BlackLine's digital marketing leader, you will focus on implementing innovative demand generation programs and be responsible for researching, building out, analyzing, and optimizing our paid media campaigns.

You will drive progressive and modern paid advertising strategies, execution, and creative analysis, working on diverse projects across various customer segments and verticals. You'll get to manage the digital marketing team while collaborating with external agencies and vendors to accelerate our business results.

This role is ideal for a data-driven individual with a deep understanding of B2B marketing and competitive dynamics and the ability to leverage innovative strategies to maintain consistent engagement with our audience and drive revenue growth.

You'll Get To:

  • Plan, implement, test, and measure multi-channel media campaigns to drive traffic to our website and increase inbound conversions
  • Perform audience research to develop new campaign ideas for paid search and paid social
  • Manage day-to-day performance across several media channels including Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads paid search
  • Collaborate with lifecycle marketing teams to design and implement the digital portion of marketing programs
  • Regular optimization and monitoring of our campaigns, focusing on direct response and performance
  • Analyze performance data and report on results, including campaign results across various customer segments to determine future investments
  • Rapidly iterate on strategy based on data-driven findings
  • Manage a team of paid media specialists
  • Oversee and coordinate the work of external agencies and vendors to ensure alignment with our marketing goals and strategies
  • Conduct customer segmentation and utilize ABM platforms (e.g., 6sense, Demandbase) to target key accounts effectively
  • Collaborate closely with the SEO team to enhance search and online visibility
  • Serve as a digital SME within the GTM organization

What You'll Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing or demand generation within a B2B SaaS/Tech environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of building and managing paid search (Google, Bing) and paid social (LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, Reddit) advertising campaigns.
  • Familiarity with digital ad serving and tracking mechanisms, including pixels and URL parameters (UTM codes).
  • Proven experience managing relationships with content creators and third-party agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to track and centralize campaign performance across multiple channels.
  • Proficiency in CRM reporting tools, such as Salesforce.
  • Experience with web analytics and attribution tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Dreamdata, HockeyStack, Bizible).
  • Preferred experience with ABM platforms (e.g., 6sense, Demandbase).
  • Ability to derive trends and insights from data analysis.
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating across functions, and maintaining focus on objectives.
  • Proactively resolves or escalates issues to ensure campaign delivery goals are met.
  • Collaborative team member with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates empathy towards our team, partners, and customers.

Salary Range:

USD $143,000.00 - USD $191,000.00

Pay Transparency Statement:

Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
