As BlackLine continues to build Finance capabilities that accelerate growth and optimize value, we are looking for a Manager FP&A planning, budget & Strategy EMEA, located in Veenendaal (Utrecht), the Netherlands. The role will help establish and execute a vision for driving strategic insights, dashboards, planning, financial modeling, and advanced analytics capabilities that drive the company. This role straddles operations, project and process management. Success requires wearing many hats, operating in ambiguous settings, listening to all stakeholders and thinking in solutions, in organizational structures, and business reporting. We are seeking a strong analytical and system savvy thinker that can help elevate analysis to support decision making, accuracy and transparency for management. You are the primary go to person in EMEA for analytics and forecasts, working in conjunction with the US FP&A team. - Develop performance criteria and establish reporting of KPIs for measuring execution of sales and product management priorities across ITC products and core BlackLine functions that FP teams depend on.

- Iteration and change management-This role straddles operations, project and process management. Success requires wearing many hats, listening to all stakeholders, and inventing solutions that may require adaptations to organizational structure, process, and business reporting.
- Technical savvy-Lack of accessible data is a significant obstacle. The role requires a scrappy approach and a scale mindset to quickly gather data inputs from disparate and unstructured data sources to highlight issues/opportunities and translate solutions into scalable tools that can deliver routine reporting on performance. BlackLine's product suite is built for the office of the CFO, hence understanding the BlackLine product capabilities, and investigating use cases where we can further leverage BlackLine products is expected of the role.
- Collaboration and empathy- Influencing stakeholders with limited "skin in the game" is expected as success will require establishing awareness, enablement, and prioritization for FP initiatives that do not exist today, establishing partnership across functions, and being an advocate for the FP business. Accomplishing this requires building a network of allies, partnering with EMEA based leadership, frequently escalating when issues arise, and building closed-loop processes to reduce execution gaps.
- Establishing boundaries and accountability-Flexible working attitude is required, since teams and internal stakeholders span across time zones from GMT to PST. Developing a cadence for aligning priorities, tasks, and reviewing deliverables are required. Communicating frequently with stakeholders to ensure critical milestones are being prioritized and tasks executed on time.
