About This Role
The Third Party Engagements & Operations Partner will support our organization’s contract lifecycle management and materials review processes. This role is responsible for processing and tracking contracts, ensuring internal contract and vendor management systems are consistently updated, efficient coordination of contracting and end-to end vendor management workflows with internal teams and external partners, and coordination of documentation review processes for third party consumption. The candidate will also help streamline workflows, monitor contracting progress, and ensure compliance with internal policies and timelines. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do
- Enter engagements into the ESE tool on behalf of the Engagement Owner based upon prioritized needs, and in alignment with compliance rules. Manage stakeholders, including escalating background checks, requesting tiers, calculating Fair Market Value (FMV), adding Supplier and contracting information. Ensure timely upload of fully executed contracts and closing documents per Compliance’s minimum documentation requirements
- Complete contract templates and send contracts to Health Care Providers (HCPs) or Health Care Organizations (HCOs) and Engagement Owner for signature. Escalate questions to Legal as necessary. Manage contracts within Biogen’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, Determine
- Assist employees in vendor risk assessment submission and onboarding within internal systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Review and process contract, agreement, and amendment submission requests and route contracts through internal systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update the contract tracking system with current information, ensuring accuracy and visibility for all stakeholders.
- Populate contract templates with scopes of work and creating purchase orders.
- Input and update contract data into relevant systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support communication between internal teams to clarify contract submission form details and status updates and facilitate the smooth flow of contract processes.
- Assist in improving contracting workflows and tracking mechanisms to enhance operational efficiency
- Assist in facilitating review of key documents necessary for fulfillment of business objectives
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in pharma/biotech
- Ideally, 1-2 years in a fast-paced administration or operational role
- Familiarity with contract management software and document tracking tools, ideally familiarity with Biogen systems
- Relevant experience in the Life Sciences sector (e.g., biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, etc.).
- Knowledge of contracting processes, procurement processes, and vendor management.
- Attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to work in an accurate manner
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service, organizational skills, experience with managing a process and partnering/collaborating with cross-functional teams
Additional Information
The base salary range for this position is $88,000 - $114,000. Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location,
and internal equity.
Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term
incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed
