About This Role
The Incentives, Targeting, and Alignment Lead is responsible for the management and leadership of our entire Field Incentive program including targeting and territory alignments and all aspects of governance, design, execution, and support for all teams participating in Field Incentives (MS, Rare (SMA, FA, ALS), Neuropsych, LEQEMBI, MA&R, BBU, and any other new BNA franchises). This role will require close partnership with all field leadership teams (Head of Franchise, Head of Sales, DGMs, etc.) and field leaders to ensure ongoing stewardship of territories, targeting, and alignment to rep, and fidelity between incentive design and business unit strategy. This position will lead the work of the Sr Managers of Incentives, focusing on specific business units, as well as the Sr Manager, Field Deployment, to ensure all governance, approvals, and flow of data is aligned from targeting, to territories and rep assignments, and incentives. Critically, this role will have accountability to ensure close partnership between Sr Manager Field Deployment, Sr Managers of Incentive Comp and sales leaders and work closely with Customer & Market Insights, Forecasting & Advanced Analytics, Finance, Human Resources, IT, and vendors. This role has accountability to the accuracy of the Power BI IC Tracker, collaborating with Field Reporting Lead, as well as partnering with ZS to ensure accuracy of Javelin and ultimately IC payout data.

What You’ll Do
• Provide strategic leadership of our Field Compensation, Incentive Compensation (IC) and President’s Club (PC) programs in close partnership our field leadership teams, HR, Legal and Finance, leveraging key project management best practices to ensure accurate and on-time completion of key tasks in the IC/Deployment life cycle
• Design, build, and maintain the territory alignments and targeting that form the foundation of field deployment and performance payouts.
• Create clear and consistent process in the designs, governance and goal setting methodologies across all field teams based on strong analytics including the modeling, testing, and validation of the work
• Provide thought leadership driving optimal IC design and ultimately driving field team motivation and engagement. Leveraging performance, execution, and attainment analytics, ensure ongoing stewardship of plan design and proactively propose changes when appropriate. Complete “health checks” (distribution of goal attainment/IC payouts, individuals or markets advantaged/disadvantaged, etc.) to ensure our plans are performing consistent with our design objectives
• Develop clear, concise and effective content to facilitate decisions on complex issues with ability to communicate to a broad range of executive level stakeholders including BNA President and leadership team
Qualifications
Required Skills
- 10 Years of Pharma/Biotech experience
- Headquarters level experience with pharma/biotech field compensation
- Must have proven experience leading field-based projects or initiatives, and strong understanding of good project management practices.
- Experience in pharma Field Operations is required, including experience / knowledge of Veeva Align, Javelin, and IC design and administration principles and best practices.
- People management experience is required.
- Strong accountability for maintaining proper governance and independent decision making.
- Analytical skillset or experience to evaluate options objectively.
- Must have demonstrated analytics skills, with the ability to work with large data sets and aggregate and slice to draw conclusions or drive insights, with knowledge of field execution to pair data with narrative, qualitative insights.
- Preferably have experience leading teams, preferably operations teams.
- Must understand and have worked 1-3 years in the areas of HCP target universe, understand target and tiering methodology and call plans.
- Fluency with field deployment alignments and mapping.
- Bachelor’s Degree
