About This Role

The Associate Director, Strategy & Execution will support the US Rare Disease Franchise to ensure that the franchise is best positioned to deliver on its strategy and business priorities. This role will drive strategic initiatives in support of the commercialization of rare disease therapies that are crucial to advancing the care of patients. 

Reporting to the Director of Strategy & Execution - US Rare Disease, this individual will have two primary responsibilities:

  1. Manage the development and implementation of key strategic initiatives cross-functionally within the Franchise
  2. Drive commercialization excellence from a top-down executive leadership perspective, ensuring a seamless bridge between team-level launch preparations and executive-level communications

What You’ll Do

  • Drive the portfolio of strategic cross-functional projects for the US Rare Disease Franchise. Act as an expert consultant to help advise and guide these projects to ensure consistency and strategic coordination in their execution.
  • Develop executive-level presentations for commercialization progress updates, business reviews, and investor relations events to be shared with the US Leadership Team, Executive Committee, and Board of Directors.
  • Synthesize monthly cross-functional data insights for executive-level updates on progress of commercial initiatives
  • Establish and maintain a prioritized portfolio of key strategic initiatives in close collaboration with the Rare Disease Leadership Team and cross-functional leaders to optimize how the Franchise delivers on its strategic objectives

Who You Are
You are a high performing, purpose-driven individual with strong strategic thinking abilities that thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment. You have demonstrated ability to manage complex workstreams in a cross-functional team environment. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years experience in biopharma or consulting setting, preferably leading large, complex programs and initiatives or relevant experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & highly collaborative
  • Strong project management skills. Comfortable managing multiple and varied projects at one time, and prioritizing accordingly based on urgent issues
  • Ability to cultivate strong internal & external network
  • Strong operational skills; project and timeline management capabilities
  • Effective problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills
•    Biotech/Pharma launch management experience
