Program Manager - IT Collaboration
Join our IT team as a Program Manager - IT Collaboration, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless collaboration across various platforms and maintaining productivity in a remote or hybrid work environment. You will provide technical support, manage system administration, and contribute to the development of collaboration strategies, making a significant impact on the company's ability to work together effectively. This role involves supporting end-users, managing platform integrations, and maintaining the efficiency and security of our collaboration tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for collaboration technologies and tools that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Identify and analyze business needs to recommend and implement solutions that enhance collaboration and productivity.
- Lead the planning, execution, and ongoing success of collaboration programs, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
- Define program scope, goals, deliverables, and establish detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones
- Monitor and report on program status, addressing any issues or risks promptly to ensure successful outcomes.
- Work closely with IT, HR, and other departments to understand their needs and integrate collaboration tools effectively.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to ensure successful implementation and support of collaboration solutions.
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and other relevant platforms.
- Continuously assess and optimize the performance of collaboration tools, recommending improvements and upgrades as needed.
- Develop and deliver training programs and resources to educate users on effective use of collaboration tools.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for collaboration-related issues, ensuring high levels of user satisfaction.
- Analyze usage data and feedback to assess the effectiveness of collaboration tools and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular reports on collaboration tool performance, project status, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management or program management, with a focus on collaboration technologies.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of collaboration tools and technologies (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom).
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with change management and user training for technology implementations.
San Jose pay range
$157,100-$188,500 USD
