The Vascular Territory Manager will be responsible for working with all levels of healthcare professionals to increase product usage in both new accounts as well as existing accounts. The territory manager will provide clinical support by conducting educational seminars and participating in surgical cases. In addition, they will develop relationships with key customers within their assigned territory and act as a liaison between sales representatives and marketing. This role has significant impact on financial performance of the business unit and is accountable for achieving established goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements effective strategies to promote products and maximize sales potential within each account through product presentations and clinical training sessions to nurses, physicians, residents, and fellows.
  • Establishes strong customer relationships by providing education and clinical assistance to meet the needs of patients and customers.
  • Facilitates communication between sales representatives and marketing regarding customer concerns and needs.
  • Coordinates scheduling of surgeries utilizing BPV products.
  • Assists with inventory management at each hospital within his/her territory.
  • Ensures appropriate use of products, including patient selection, proper implantation techniques, and post-procedure care.
  • Provides input regarding product design and development, including testing and evaluation of new products.
  • Monitors competitive activity and trends; communicate opportunities to Sales Management.
  • Manages multiple priorities simultaneously to achieve desired results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing
  • Minimum three years previous experience in marketing, sales, or clinical specialty position preferred.
  • Experience in vascular access desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with physicians, administration, staff, and patients.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently (75%).
