Job Description Summary

We are seeking a motivated Technical Sales Specialist to join the BD Biosciences (BDB) Nordic Team in Sweden. This role focuses on direct sales of our flow cytometry instruments and reagent systems to clinical, academic, and biotech customers in Greater Stockholm area and Northern Sweden. The role is field-based, and working closely with a dedicated Sales Team, reporting to BDB Nordic Sales Manager. Your goal is to drive growth in the region through customer engagement and strategic sales activities.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Sell flow cytometry instruments, reagents, and single-cell solutions to customers in Sweden.
  • Achieve sales growth targets by aligning with the company's strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
  • Attend exhibitions, organize on-site customer meetings and demonstrations, and offer portfolio support while coordinating with internal teams.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales reports in CRM systems, sharing insights from the sales territory.
  • Collaborate with leadership and marketing teams to identify trends and growth opportunities.
  • Support customers with product knowledge and technical expertise during the sales process.
  • Represent the company in key sales meetings and contribute to business development initiatives.

About you:

  • MSc or PhD in Life Sciences
  • Experience in a commercial or sales role is highly desirable, but candidates with strong laboratory or technical expertise looking to transition into sales will also be considered.
  • 2-3 years practical laboratory experience, preferably in Flow Cytometry.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build long-term customer relationships.
  • A standout colleague, capable of working independently and collaboratively across teams and supporting shared business goals.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (around 50% of the time with 1-2 overnight stays per week).
