Sr. Manager IT Business Partner - Logistics for Central teams will be engaged with Global Supply chain stakeholders and will lead and collaborate on highly integrated, complex, and critical business projects. Sr. Manager will be responsible to partner with business leaders to understand near and long-term business needs. Manage technology projects within framework of BD TGS governance processes. The position requires knowledge of supply chain, transportation, global trade and product distribution business processes, systems and interfaces with external applications and latest trends in market.

Responsibilities

  • Lead workshops across multiple functional teams for Global Supply Chain Network and intercompany, which includes: Business requirements, Design, fit/gap analysis, build, test, and deployment of business solutions.
  • Provide Business Relationship Management with global Supply chain Stakeholders.
  • Partner with Process, and Operations leaders to establish and improve process standardization & simplification while leveraging existing and new technologies
  • Oversight of Project Planning and Execution, while reporting on project health, issues, risk and action resolution and mitigation.
  • Collaborate and Influence the overall solution design, architect, and process & functional integration
  • Participates in a cross-functional team environment and partner with other organizations to deliver solutions in an agile framework to support the design and implementation of a integrated intercompany solutions

Impact on Results

  • Develops expertise in BD's overall Global Supply chain functional process, with emphasis on logistics including delivery to shipment, network flows, intercompany and applies business process and systems knowledge to support functional business process teams and site teams.
  • Works with the platform team using the approved BD project execution methodology to ensure all assigned tasks and problems are resolved by the assigned completion date.
  • Provides appropriate documentation and maintains system integrity by following proper validation, testing and documentation to meet support requirements.
  • Provides leadership in coordinating development requests and acts as a single interface to Global supply chain, and various project teams across TGS.
  • Provides leadership in coordinating Project and Production Support with Application Management Vendors
  • Guides business subject matter experts and Global Supply Chain organization in a consulting role and acts as their single point of contact to the entire TGS organization.
  • Provides technical leadership in the Global Supply Chain community and assists in the alignment of business activities.
  • In partnership with the platform team, manages enhancements, support packages and upgrade projects by working with end users in gathering detailed requirements, analyzing business processes, design, configuration, documentation, and testing using BD's Global execution methodology.
  • Works with the platform team to ensure that system problems and production support issues are addressed in a timely manner. Assists with the training of users on Global Supply Chain business systems.
  • Act as a project leader on Global Supply Chain Projects. Provide leadership on SAP ERP, STO, Inventory Management, Intercompany, Global Trade systems projects
  • Ensures the integrity of relevant Global Supply Chain processes and SOX controls for BD business systems

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience within Information Technology with practical experience in leading Global Supply Chain business systems.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, JDE, MuleSoft and processes.
  • Good understanding and practical experience of the integration points between logistics with core SAP ERP modules.
  • Must exhibit a strong process management orientation.
  • Must have knowledge with FDA CFR Part 11 Software Validation processes and regulated systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written (using Microsoft Office applications) and verbal are required for interaction with various levels of management and peers

Preferred Experience

  • Experience of working in a supply chain function with exposure to major large, complex multi country end to end SAP transformation programs.
  • Experience operating in a team lead capacity.
  • MBA or Masters in technical/business relevant field of study.
  • SAP ECC 6.0 or SAP S4 Hana Certification in SAP Logistics.
