About the role

As Regulatory Affairs Trainee you will learn and develop from executing and supporting the activities of the Regulatory Affairs Operations team. The scope extends across BD business units. The activities are related with regulatory responsibilities to execute processes and provide support to projects and activities related to European and Swiss Authorised Representative for medical devices. The role will also support the wider EMEA regulatory affairs team as required.

Main responsibilities may include:

  • Support the team in performing authorised representative activities according to the EU and Swiss regulations, which include but are not limited to maintaining mandates and liaising with manufacturers and reviewing documentation.
  • Prepare and request Certificates of Free Sale.
  • Prepare and submit product notification to the Irish competent authorities.
  • Support the team with data management (metrics, dashboards, trackers).
  • Understand and follow regional and corporate procedures applicable to role.

About you

  • Educated to a bachelor's degree, preferably in scientific or engineering field.
  • Internship Agreement with the University is required.
  • Advanced in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
  • Very organized, analytical thinker with strong attention to detail.
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and preferably with excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
