Job Description Summary
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for sales growth in both new customer acquisition and account penetration within their respective territory. This role reports to the District Sales Director and will work closely with Sales Application Specialists, Clinical Support Specialists, Marketing, and other cross-functional team members. They are also expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills by coaching and developing a high performance team.

Responsibilities:
- Achieve or exceed assigned annual quota through execution of approved Sales & Marketing plans and strategies
- Develops long term relationships with customers and key decision makers
- Assist in identifying key opportunities within each account
- Provide feedback on market trends as well as competitor activity within each account
- Determine appropriate resources needed to support growth (i.e., training, clinical support specialists)
- Recruit, train, motivate and develop a high performance sales team including hiring, terminations, evaluations, and disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Work effectively with Marketing, Product Management, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- 7+ years relevant experience
- Experience managing direct reports
- Strong knowledge of medical device industry and hospital infrastructure
- Ability to analyze business systems and processes
- Demonstrated excellence in influencing, negotiating, and building partnerships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Travel Requirements: 50-60%
