We are seeking an ambitious Principal Regional Sales Manager to support our LATAM sales team, focusing on Enterprise business.

The LATAM Principal Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and driving sales strategies within the Latin American (LATAM) region. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, and ensuring the achievement of regional revenue targets. The Principal Regional Sales Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to expand market presence and grow the company's business in the region.

In this role you will...

  1. Sales Strategy:
    • Develop and execute the regional sales strategy for their territory in LATAM, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
    • Identify key growth opportunities within the region and establish plans to capitalize on them.
    • Set clear sales objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and metrics to monitor performance.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier customers, strategic partners, and key stakeholders across the LATAM region.
  • Serve as a point of contact for high-level clients, addressing complex customer needs and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Lead contract negotiations, closing large and strategic deals, and driving key account management efforts.
  • Market Expansion and Opportunity Development:
    • Identify new business opportunities and market segments within LATAM to grow the customer base.
    • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market dynamics to keep the company's offerings competitive and relevant.
    • Develop and implement regional initiatives to expand brand visibility, increase market share, and grow the client base in the region.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales efforts with regional and global objectives.
    • Provide insights and feedback to the product and marketing teams on customer needs, preferences, and market demands.
    • Work with the finance and operations teams to ensure efficient sales processes, resource allocation, and pricing models for the LATAM region.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
    • Develop accurate sales forecasts for the LATAM region and report regularly to senior management on sales performance, pipeline health, and progress toward targets.
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Track and report on key metrics such as revenue growth, deal volume, customer acquisition, and retention rates.
  • Customer Retention and Satisfaction:
    • Develop and implement customer retention strategies to ensure long-term business relationships and repeat sales.
    • Work with the customer success team to ensure clients are satisfied with the solutions and services offered, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

    You've got what it takes if you have...
    1. Regional Market Expertise:
      • In-depth knowledge of the LATAM market, specifically Mexico region, including key industries, customer behavior, regulatory requirements, and cultural nuances.
      • Minimum of 10+ years proven track record of success in B2B sales, particularly in sectors such as technology, software, financial services, or healthcare.
    2. Strategic Thinking and Execution:
      • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with business goals and drive market expansion.
      • Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
    3. Customer Relationship Management:
      • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with C-level executives, key stakeholders, and decision-makers.
      • Experience in managing and growing key accounts, with a strong customer-centric approach.
    4. Sales Operations and Tools:
      • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other sales management tools.
      • Experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and tracking sales performance against KPIs.
    5. Languages:
      • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese (in addition to English) is required.
      • Ability to navigate language barriers and cultural differences in the LATAM region.
    6. Education:
      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or experience.

    • Prior experience in a senior sales role within LATAM or similar emerging markets.
    • Experience in managing large, complex sales cycles and negotiating high-value deals.
    • Strong understanding of SaaS, cloud-based solutions, or technology products is a plus.
    • Experience working in a fast-growing, high-paced environment.
    • MBA or other relevant advanced degrees
