Job Summary

As a Finance Partner (Supply Chain), you're confident, highly motivated, and a self-starter. You will play a critical role in driving results for Greater Asia Operation Finance team focusing on Supply Chain Finance Partnering activities.

You will manage and improve processes relating to analysis, and communication of financial and operational data relating to several components of the business' operations: capital, inventory, and supply chain key financial metrics.
This is a highly visible position that requires a blend of accounting, FP&A and business acuity. You will work closely with Country, Region and Global Finance to achieve common business goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the formulation of Supply Chain strategies, objectives and plans impacting Business by providing financial expertise, pro-active insights, problem solving, counsel and recommendations
  • Manage costs by providing timely financial analysis and highlight monthly performance variances, work with Countries to actively manage risks and opportunities profile. Proactively work with key supply chain stakeholders to create contingency plan and scenario's / options to meet expectations and recommending immediate corrective actions to improve cost efficiencies in achieving business goals
  • Provide financial expertise in supporting key business & investment decisions in Supply Chain network changes. Partner with Vice President of Supply Chain, Greater Asia within Integrated Supply chain networks, in driving demand driven agile Supply Chain Function. Review opportunities in cost and cash area with a holistic business perspective.
  • Lead overall planning and analytics (annual Strategic Review, annual Budget, quarterly Financial projections) on supply chain Total Spend and inventory metrics, including providing overall guidance on annual budget freight & duties establishment process, inventory planning process. Support supply chain forecast through deep-dives and understanding of different costs drivers, different contractual models and causes of price impact.
  • Be a key finance resource for Regional Business Finance partners to understand the financial implications of major supply chain projects impacting business outcomes.
  • Ensure that the supply chain organization has adequate financial acumen and understanding of policies and procedures through regular and effective training and presentation of relevant finance initiatives, policies and procedures.
  • Supports FP&A Director (Operations) to develop and align Greater Asia time lines, deliverables and strategic end to end projects, collaborate with Shared Services and Global Finance.

Preferred Requirements

  • Degree Holder in Business or Accounting or CIMA.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in Management Accounting or Business Analysis.
  • Candidate must be self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced working environment, work independently and collaboratively in a matrix organisation.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at a time, focused on the details while finding creative ways to solve big picture challenges.
  • Results oriented with the ability to drive outcomes through simplified process leveraging on technology. (Power BI dashboards visualization & analysis, SAP BPC)
  • Pro-active, able to meet tight timelines, high level of integrity. Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and continuous improvement growth mindset.
  • Candidates with supply chain finance partnering experiences in multi-national companies will be an added advantage.
