Job Description Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Commercial Excellence IT Business Partner to join our team. This role will act as a critical bridge between our IT department and commercial business units, ensuring that IT initiatives and projects align with and support our commercial strategies and objectives in the marketing to opportunity & quote to contract areas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT and business acumen, with the ability to translate business needs into effective IT solutions.
This role is responsible for driving strategic alignment and operational excellence within the IT organization. This role involves shaping demand from various segments, regions, and central teams, and managing the end-to-end delivery of IT offerings. The Business Partner will act as a single point of contact for all IT services in the Commercial Excellence function, ensuring seamless integration and execution of technology solutions, process improvements, and business iitiatives.

About the role
As the Commercial Excellence IT Business Partner Lead, your role is to bridge our IT department and commercial business units. You'll ensure IT initiatives support our marketing and contracting objectives.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Alignment: Work closely with commercial leaders to understand business strategies and objectives, identifying IT needs and solutions to support these goals.
- Project Management: Lead the planning, development, and implementation of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships between IT and commercial units, presenting and explaining complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Find opportunities for IT to enhance business processes and drive commercial excellence.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with IT vendors and service providers to craft and implement IT solutions.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the success of IT projects and services in meeting business needs.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with IT standards and regulatory requirements.
- Innovation: Stay current with technology trends and advancements, advising on their potential impact on business processes.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in a business partner or similar role within a technology or global services organization with a focus on CRM systems.
- Strong understanding of technology solutions, process analysis, and project management.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and knowledge of CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) & CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) systems (e.g., Salesforce, Conga, OracleCPQ).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with collaborators.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A Master's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives is a plus.
