Reporting to the Senior Manager, Commercial Operations, the Bilingual RFP Manager is responsible for executing and owning the entire end-to-end RFP process for Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Quotation/Qualification (RFQ) and Requests for Information (RFI) (collectively "RFx") The RFP Manager is also responsible for RFP, RFQ and RFI terms and conditions which includes identifying and red-lining non-standard terms and conditions while collaborating and consulting with business partners, finance partners and Legal counsel.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities via tendering/bid websites.
  • Proactively review upcoming RFx's based on existing contracts and agreements.
  • Manage the active RFP process from start to finish.
  • Coordinate response activity and necessary stakeholder meetings.
  • Work with subject matter experts to develop competitive strategies.
  • Seek internal approvals and ensure SOX compliance.
  • Update RFx/contract databases.
  • Act as a custodian of corporate legal documents and records.
  • Liaise with Customer Order Management to ensure compliance with executed contract terms.
  • Develop business relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective coordination.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related discipline required.
  • 5 years' experience including 2 years of relevant professional experience in a contracting, managing the RFP process, customer analytics, CSR, pricing role working in a large matrix fast-paced organization.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical aptitudes.
  • Fluent in English and French (read, write, speak) as the role will need to communicate with French-speaking customers and/or internal team members.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), and with Salesforce.
  • Flexibility and ability to balance competing priorities and juggle multiple projects simultaneously; ability to work under pressure and within tight timelines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required to liaise with multiple internal departments; ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex contractual documentation; ability to respond effectively and in a timely manner to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Strong time management skillset required.
