RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and develop complex requirements to accomplish business goals.
  • Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability and ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset.
  • Contribute to story refinement /defining requirements.
  • Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
  • Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
  • Design, automate, and maintain large scale, enterprise-wide web applications using .Net, Angular, Oracle, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Node, and IIS.
  • Design, automate, and maintain large scale, enterprise-wide desktop applications using .Net, SQL Server, Teradata and Hadoop Hive and Impala.
  • Use Angular and .Net to design a full scale enterprise-wide Preclearance Political Contribution system that supports regulatory compliance.
  • Implement and configure continuous integration, continuous deployment, build tools, version control, and test-driven development tools by utilizing Jenkins, Ansible, XLR and BitBucket.
  • Implement data wrangling and data mining in Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, SSIS, and Hadoop to perform insightful reporting, resolve hidden issues, and to help identify opportunities for efficiency.
  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related; and
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
  • Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Designing, automating, and maintaining large scale, enterprise-wide web applications using .Net, Angular, Oracle, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Node, and IIS;
  • Designing, automating, and maintaining large scale, enterprise-wide desktop applications using .Net, SQL Server, Teradata and Hadoop Hive and Impala;
  • Using Angular and .Net to design a full scale enterprise-wide Preclearance Political Contribution system that supports regulatory compliance;
  • Implementing and configuring continuous integration, continuous deployment, build tools, version control, and test-driven development tools by utilizing Jenkins, Ansible, XLR and BitBucket; and,
