Join us!Job Description:The Vice President - BFC Product Lead will be key member of the Hong Kong FICC team, performing the Business Finance and Control function for GFX/LCT business. The Controller position is responsible for all aspects of finance, which include, valuation, financial reporting, financial analysis & new product assessment. Apart from managing day to day usual product control work the person is expected to lead key initiatives and projects. Should have strong knowledge of FX/ Rates products, valuation & Accounting. The person should be proactive who partners well with various stakeholders. Responsibilities:Performance and supervision of BFC core functions including but not limited to:Valuation Control including application of technical Independent Price Verification and Valuation Adjustment techniques, requiring an understanding of bonds, and vanilla linear/non-linear interest rate and FX derivative.New product review.P&L & Balance Sheet controls and analysis.Oversight of month-end closing, financial disclosure reporting.Project engagement to drive operational excellence.Value-added business support including analysis and management of scarce resources.Drive changes and issues resolutions by partnering with business and support functions.Manage audit and regulatory requests.Manage global Finance initiatives from the region.Skills:Good understanding of Fixed Income, FX and Rates Products.Valuation experience of bonds, forwards, swaps and options.Control focused, analytical, team oriented, attention to detail, self driven.Strong communication skills both verbal and written.Advanced Excel skills with ability to streamline/eliminate spreadsheet usage.Emerging Tech skills e.g. Tableau, Alteryx, etc.Experience of leading small teams and driving team deliverables.Good working knowledge of Us GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.Experience:Minimum 7 years of experience in global markets product valuation and control.Possess undergraduate degree of Accounting, Finance, or Risk Management, and ideally CFA and FRM designations.Experience to lead a small/medium team and achievements in projects implementation.Analysis or process design/modification involving data management.
