Process Overview


GF (Global Finance) Global Financial Control India (GFCI) is part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business (LOBs) and Enterprise Finance functions. The capabilities hosted include General Accounting & Reconciliations, Legal Entity Controllership, Corporate Controllership, Management Reporting & Analysis, Finance Systems Support, Operational Risk and Controls, Regulatory Reporting and Strategic initiatives.

Job Description

Work involves preparation of 10K/10Q Notes filed with Securities and Exchange Commission, data provider reviews associated with assigned 10-Q/K sections, Mock runs, Earning release preparation including presentation, town hall material including slide, script etc.

Responsibilities


GFC- CC - Senior Manager position includes, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

• SEC reporting for 10-K and 10-Q (including Loans, Leases, Securities Financing Agreements, Collateral and Restricted Cash, Securitizations and Other Variable Interest Entities)

• Earning release supplemental package

• Liaise with Global Markets Finance teams, to gather inputs and analyze information

• Audit committee deck, earning release speech script etc

• Make presentations to senior management

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of disclosures in formation

• Ensure compliance with SOX controls

• Liaison with internal and external auditors

• Identify and escalate control issues, errors and efficiency opportunities

• Responsible for dealing with stakeholders across functions and hierarchy within the Bank

• Identifying improvement opportunities and leveraging resources available to implement the ideas

• Ensure adherence to Process & Governance routines

• Timely response of external & internal queries

• Analyze and understand legal entity general ledger balances

• Support ad hoc projects

Requirements

Education


CA, MBA Finance,

IFRS Certifications

Experience Range

Minimum 10+ years in finance, accounting, financial reporting

Foundational skills


• Sound knowledge of financial products (derivatives, swaps, interest, bonds, credit, etc.) and strong accounting skills around financial instruments

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary as the position requires global correspondence and communication with associates throughout the Bank of America footprint

• Proficient in use of Excel

• Driven to learn and develop new skills

• Self-motivated and independent having a control mindset

• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deliver as well as being able to adapt to changes

• Able to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment

Desired skills

• US GAAP experience

• Strong computer skills and Oracle/SAP experience

• Emerging Technologies including Alteryx and Tableau

Work Timings

Window 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM (9 hours shift, may require stretch during close period)
