Location Overview:

The Team:

Due to an increase in our programme portfolio, we are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Dublin based Global Payments Orchestrator Technology team. We are a global team made up of a diverse range of people from varied backgrounds who each bring unique skillsets and perspectives. The team is responsible for delivering large programmes of change such as Global Payments Transformation, External Mandates like the Industry wide ISO20022 Migration.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare/Review Requirement Traceability Metrics in Test Management Tool
  • Review Test Scope Coverage in Test Management tool
  • Identify & engage for required type of testing (Sanity/Integration/Functional/Regression)
  • Takes care of Functional & Regression Automation Approach (boost-up automation penetration)
  • Takes care of Production Validation Approach (Penny Test, Component based Mock Test)
  • Ensure test coverage for all functional & BAU requirements in Test Management tool.
  • Classify and guide test cases for required type of test.
  • Perform test case review, execution and approve the test cases in Test Management tool.
  • Prepare Test execution plan and review with scrum teams, E2E, program and UAT Team
  • Communicate daily/weekly status reports.
  • Prepare Test closure report, review Test closure report, and ensure signoffs.
  • Escalate for deviations (Planned Vs Actuals)
  • Socialize overall test status for assigned teams to Test Manager and SLT.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in testing planning & execution, both manual and automated testing.
  • Relevant IT experience (SDLC- Waterfall / Agile) preferably within a financial domain.
  • Can guide test planning, usually at an agile team level, ensuring stories are well refined and contain clear acceptance criteria.
  • Good knowledge of Java, Selenium, Automation frameworks like Cucumber BDD, Oracle SQL, API Testing & Automation, Test management tools like Qtest, Octane.
  • Good experience in Payments/Finance domain with previous Middleware experiences.
  • Several years' experience as Test Lead and considerable experience within Quality Assurance.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (both to a technical and non-technical audience)
  • Analytical Thinking, Attention to Detail, Team Leadership, Problem Solving, Innovative thinking, mentoring.
  • Operating in a highly Agile continuous integration and continuous deployment environment.

Skills that will help:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related Discipline
  • ISTQB or equivalent international/industry standard certifications.
