Job Description:
Responsible for the origination and subsequent delivery of integrated treasury solutions to clients and prospects through own origination or in collaboration with Corporate Banking or Regional/Global GPS teammates to deliver truly global solutions for clients.
Reporting to the Regional Head of FIG GPS, as well as the local and global management teams, the successful candidate will cover a sophisticated and strategically important portfolio of clients across FI, non-bank FI and government sectors in local, regional, and global markets.
These clients are innovative, moving quickly in adopting new products, acclimating to extensive technology trends, and our team needs to provide thought leadership and advice to clients on tailored solutions in this changing landscape.
Key responsibilities include actively managing and pursuing treasury revenue streams and increasing product penetration across an assigned portfolio; collaborating with client-facing teammates to consult on sales opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Drive responsible revenue and balance sheet growth, profitability improvement, client engagement and planning, portfolio development, pricing strategy, proposal responses, and lead client facing treasury presentations.
- Partner with Corporate Bankers, Product Specialists and Operational teams across the enterprise to develop customized treasury solutions and deliver strategically aligned outcomes for the client and the bank.
- Lead pricing and negotiation discussions with clients for treasury management products to optimize relationship profitability while balancing near term and strategic goals, ensuring delivery of integrated treasury solutions to Global Corporate Banking and GPS Managed clients.
- Foster a digital agenda by driving mobile, digital, and real time payments adoption and manage strategic dialogue around key client centric issues, leveraging best practices, peer benchmarking, industry data analytics, and solutioning positioning.
- Leads, coaches, and develops Treasury Sales Analysts (TSA), Treasury Sales Officers (TSO), and Treasury Sales Client Officers (TSCO) in day-to-day support of client deliverables.
Required Skills / Personal Attributes:
- 10+ years of experience in designing and selling sophisticated treasury and payment solutions to FIs, Insurers, Asset Managers and other NBFI clients, with a proven track record in developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships.
- Proven industry expertise across the FI sector and underlying industries. Specific expertise should include a thorough understanding of product requirements, opportunities, and challenges to these segments.
- A well-developed existing network within the FI / NBFI market to assist with role success.
- Excellent business, commercial and origination skills with a strategic mindset to create and advance global treasury solutions with clients.
- Ability to navigate a rapidly changing competitive and technological landscape with an in-depth knowledge of the evolving landscape of global payments.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
