Location Overview:

As we continue to grow our platform, we are looking for a Director to join the UK Corporate Banking Team. In this role you will help support our growth ambitions with a primary focus on new client origination.

Responsibilities:

As a core member of the UK Corporate Banking team you will:

  • Identify, target and onboard new UK clients (listed and private)
  • Develop and manage the client dialogue as the relationship manager
  • Coordinate client engagement globally, and across full product suite
  • Take responsibility for the origination of business across product
  • Provide advice on a broad array of financing strategies to address client specific needs
  • Structure, prepare and deliver content led presentations
  • Partner closely with Investment Banking teams on client coverage and origination
  • Work with our credit and risk partners as it relates to our client engagements
  • Seek to ensure the Bank's activities are conducted in a compliant and risk free manner
  • Manage and mentor junior professionals on deal execution, marketing and general career development

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent client relationships, marketing, presentation and sales skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Corporate Banking product set and the UK client base (including midcap space)
  • Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence
  • Demonstrated experience in client management and new business origination
  • Meticulous attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness
  • Ambitious, with a desire to succeed
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and with multiple teams/individuals
  • Strong corporate finance skills and experience
  • You will have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
