Responsibilities

Commercial Card is a growing product line in the portfolio of Global Payments Solutions products in the EMEA region. In order to continue expansion, as well as maintain and support our offering, we are recruiting an additional Card Product Manager focused on Core Card solutions. As a Card Product Manager, you will play a central role in managing the products and EMEA footprint to high standards of risk management, overseeing the relationship with and performance of technology and other bank partners, and ensuring that Commercial Card continues to deliver to profitability, growth and client satisfaction objectives. This will be a varied role with a high level of empowerment, where self-initiative, diligence and commercial instinct will be rewarded with an outstanding opportunity to build deep expertise and industry/internal profile.

  • Maintain and deepen understanding of key developments and client needs in Card payments, exploring clients' pain-points and staying appraised of industry developments.
  • Lead a range of risk management activities, including evaluation of new regulations, performing detailed impact analysis, articulating impact of regulatory change, overseeing legal reviews and supporting audit requests.
  • Maintain and expand a pipeline of product developments working with Technology and other key partners on scoping key priorities.
  • Identify key product performance trends and lead efforts to report progress and identify measures and projects to deliver improvements.
  • Spearhead commercialisation efforts for Card product offerings, product revisions or emphasizing Band of America capabilities.
  • Lead and participate in internal business, product, legal and risk reviews.
  • Raise Bank of America profile through industry engagements, event presence, press and external communications.
  • Support Sales and internal partners with product related queries or issues, related to Core Product and Local Issuing Bank services.
  • Manage and improve external sales collateral, internal training materials, and product input to Request for Proposal (RFP) responses / sales presentations / account management reviews.

What we are looking for

  • Experience as a Product Manager in a financial services context.
  • Experience in a credit card product management and/or trave and expense "T&E" or Business-to-business "B2B" payment role preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to develop detailed knowledge of broad and sometimes complex payment rules and regulations across a number of markets.
  • A commercial mindset and passion for engaging with clients and client teams in pursuit of delivering outstanding product solutions.
  • Deep understanding of regulations impacting card payments, including fraud management, regulatory reporting and data privacy.
  • Detailed knowledge of commercial payment practices, key participants, expense and procure-to-pay management and trends.
  • Understanding of key credit card processing concepts, such as Bank Identification Number "BIN" management, fraud prevention and if possible TSYS processing solutions.
  • Experience of managing and developing partnerships in order to enhance product solutions.
