Corporate Audit is an independent function that reports to the Audit Committee of the Bank of America Corporation. We provide a holistic assessment on the risk profile of the Company and independent assessment and validation of the effectiveness of key processes and controls across the Company. Job Description

Corporate Audit are looking to expand its Enterprise Control Functions audit team by recruiting an experienced finance professional with a background in regulatory financial reporting. The role provides exposure to various processes within the Company's finance function through involvement in corporate audit assignments and independent validation of remediation actions to address gaps in the control environment.

The role is based in Mumbai and is reporting to a Senior Audit Manager in the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead audit assignments across finance and regulatory reporting lines of businesses in line with the Company's audit methodology.
  • Independent validation of the remediation of audit and business identified issues.
  • Drafting audit reports and contribution to the drafting of external and internal presentations.
  • Staff development, on the job training and providing performance evaluation to team members.
  • Effective liaison with local and global audit colleagues and business partners.

Requirements:

  • Education: Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant qualification or a university degree in finance/accounting.
  • Exp Range: 15+ year experience in regulatory reporting (Credit, Counterparty Credit and Market Risk RWA reporting).

Foundational Skills:

  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to deliver high quality work within deadlines.
  • Strong team player and proven ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-location team.
  • Genuine interest and broad understanding of the financial services regulatory landscape and products.
  • Ability to process information and change focus quickly.
