Process Overview:

The Consumer Credit Strategy Analyst will be responsible for accurate and timely test planning and execution associated with the end-to-end decisioning of Consumer and Small Business Credit Strategies. The position requires being able to manage simultaneous complex analytics and translating results into meaningful output.

The analyst will be responsible for performing complex analysis. Utilizes a variety of systems including, but not limited to Excel, MS, SAS, and Visio at an intermediary level. Provides analytical support on various strategies to ensure company goals are met. Analyzes, reviews requirements with business partners. Will participate in the rollout of companywide programs developed as a result of credit strategies.

Duties primarily include the regular use of discretion and independent judgment. 2-5 years' experience preferred in Consumer Lending Underwriting or related operational, or systems support areas.

In addition, this role also requires the development and presentation of test plans, scripts, execution and test results; strong critical thinking skills; team collaboration; and ability to deliver results on time.

Responsibilities:

Experienced analytical professional to join our team as a strategy analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for several key areas:

  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter.
  • Strong communication (oral, written) and organizational skills; must exhibit a high attention to detail and strong writing ability along with proven experience of telling a story with data.
  • Daily responsibilities include reviewing requirements and technical specifications, developing test plans, execution of test scripts, identifying and documenting defects and providing daily updates to test leads and managers as needed.
  • Proven analytical ability and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated through 4+ years related professional work experience.
  • 4+ years' experience using database software and analytical tools, such as SAS, SQL to access large databases.
  • Strong working knowledge of the process and tools used for development, validation, implementation, and documentation of credit risk and/or marketing business strategies.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word)
  • Be a team player and a thoughtful risk-taker.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence others to drive results.
  • Effective project management and organizational skills; ability to collaborate, manage, and expand relationships across the organization.

Requirements:

Education

  • Advanced degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Engineering from a premier institute

Certification: Technical certifications in SAS, SQL preferred

Experience Range :

  • Demonstrated through 10+ years related professional work experience.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience using SAS, SQL in data analytics.
  • U.S financial services experience preferable

Foundational Skills:

  • The candidate must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of SAS and SQL.
  • Must have 4+ years of relevant experience in analytics. Strong preference working in financial services, particularly strategy development and designing.
  • Demonstrated experience with a Business Intelligence tool, preferably Tableau.
  • Candidate must have a proven track record of building test plans and test scripts and experience perform testing based on client requirements and technical designs.
  • Experience with Testing Tools: Application Lifecycle Management; SOAP UI; SQL; MS
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is critical.
  • Must have exceptional analytical, organizational, and communications skills.

Desired Skills:

  • Advanced degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Engineering from a premier institute. Master's degree is plus.
  • Prior testing experience is preferred.

Work Timings: 12:30PM to 9:30PM (IST); 2:00AM to 11:00AM (US EST)
