Summary:
As the Director, Behavioral Health Delivery you'll lead the team responsible for implementing Bamboo Health's behavioral health suite of real-time care intelligence solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and on-quality. You must have behavioral health industry knowledge and public sector client software delivery or client management experience. Management responsibilities include coaching, developing, and retaining talent, and driving a strong team culture.

What You'll Do:
• Ensure Bamboo Health's behavioral health solutions are implemented according to the company's standards of on-time, on-budget, and on-quality.
• Serve as a project advisor to your team and executive sponsor to our clients during implementation, driving projects forward and managing to successful outcomes.
• Lead the design and continual, proactive improvement of project methodologies and collateral, ensuring our clients receive a consistent and industry-leading implementation experience.
• Partner cross-functionally with several teams to develop and maintain processes for project handoffs from sales to implementation, and implementation to ongoing client management.
• Partner with Product to identify and close product functionality gaps that pose risks to a successful go-live.
• Participate in pre-sale activities such as RFP response, deal review, and resource capacity/demand planning.
• Provide day-to-day management and coaching to your direct reports (currently 6).
What Success Looks Like...
In 3 months...
• Have a complete understanding of our current state of implementation practices for our behavioral health products, and the status of all active projects in the portfolio.
• Identified gaps and inconsistencies in current processes, and draft plans to address them, partnering cross-functionally as appropriate.
• Established strong relationships with cross-functional leaders, such as Business Development, Sales Engineering, Client Relations, Product, and the Sr. Director, Behavioral Health Solutions.
• Established strong relationships with all members of your team, and assessed skill gaps, strengths, and opportunities for development.
In 6 months...
• Have a complete understanding of your areas KPI targets and OKRs and have assumed ownership of them
• Identified and began executing on playbook creation/refresh efforts aimed at improving role clarity, performance expectations, and project execution speed and quality.
• Improved project status reporting and documentation for internal and external consumption.
• Demonstrated mastery of our current product capabilities and a strong understanding of items in the product roadmap and their expected timing/impact.
• Recognized and mitigated risks to successful delivery during deal review for potential projects. Acted as internal and external escalation point.
In 12 months...
• Improved in on-time, on-budget, and on-quality project delivery.
• Increased project delivery consistency and have aligned stakeholder expectations to reality around project execution, documentation, and communication standards.
• Driven improvement in employee NPS for the function.
What You Need:
• 10+ years of experience working in a program or software implementation role with behavioral health and/or public sector clients.
• 5+ years of experience managing and developing people.
• Experience successfully managing a portfolio of concurrent projects, reporting on status and performance to leadership, identifying opportunities to improve delivery timelines, project methods and tools, and driving high-levels of team performance against internal and external expectations.
• High proficiency at designing statements of work, project plans, standard operating procedures, and contributing the necessary inputs to drive project pricing
• A track record of successfully managing complex projects with multiple operational and financial milestones, identifying and mitigating risks and issues, and driving towards go-live
• Mastery of uncovering existing client workflows and mapping those to software capabilities, driving change where necessary to achieve desired outcomes
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, from individual contributors/end-users to the C-suite
• A track record of building and maintaining a strong team culture
• Proven self-starter and ability to manage ambiguity; takes the initiative to identify and drive change
• A high level of judgment, analytical ability and creativity in investigating problems that require original and innovative solutions
• A work environment that is conducive to high quality virtual interactions (includes but is not limited to being able to work from a quiet space with minimal interruptions or distractions, and a strong internet connection)
• The ability to travel to clients as needed, approximately once per quarter but possibly more frequent when needs arise
• BA/BS degree
