You will work in an agile environment with some of the best Microsoft consultants. Together with your colleagues, you will be working on highly complex projects for some of the most well-known companies, and you will be responsible for developing highly complex solutions, all while developing your own career. Our Azure Infrastructure team plays an instrumental part in doing what Avanade does best: delivering outstanding, complex projects with global impact and helping our clients transform their businesses through digital innovation. What you'll do
• Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure to support business applications and services.
• Lead architecture design sessions, develop proof-of-concepts, and drive the implementation of complex cloud solutions.
• Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Monitor and optimize Azure resources to ensure performance, cost efficiency, and high availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure and services.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies, trends, and best practices.
Skills and experiences
• Strong expertise in Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure
Networking.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, and/or Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, particularly Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of security principles and best practices in the cloud.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.

* Relevant technology business leadership experience in areas such as architecture, and project delivery. You likely also have experience of demonstrated people and/or business leadership experience, particularly leading consultants.
