The Role
#LNI-DNI
Infrastructure Architect, Kyndryl Inc, New York, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (up to 100% telecommuting permitted): Conduct technical governance and review boards with client principal engineers to discuss, design, and execute projects. Perform incident troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues. Troubleshoot datacenter physical redundancy problems, including hardware, fabric redundancy, and redundant links with third-party vendors to optimize failover convergences. Lead engineering efforts for severity 1 incidents related to infrastructure. Maintain interconnections between running services. Review and approve technical changes based on knowledge of customer and internal change management processes. Participate in the Change Advisory Board (CAB) for evaluating risks, technical feasibility, scheduling concerns, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Service Level Objectives (SLOs). Manage L1 through L3 changes, including infrastructure topology changes, hardware refresh, and data center consolidation. Review infrastructure capacity reports. Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Fabric Path to Software Defined Network (SDN) migration program. Define Technical Solution Documentation (TSD) and Scope of Work (SOW) while collaborating with different teams and vendors. Monitor vulnerabilities and security-related topics. Handle third-party vendor Return Materials Authorization (RMA) and technical cases. Monitor LAN and WAN links behavior. Troubleshoot automation processes. Follow internal break/fix process for non-working services in North American Data centers. Manage environmental operative system upgrades. Provide technical collaboration on HCA migration project (VMware-Hitachi Storage). Review and redesign SMA Infrastructure considering new technologies. Test and evaluate products or services to fulfill organizational requirements and reduce costs. Lead a group of Global Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) supporting different service towers. Engage vendors to assess potential hardware refresh options. Utilize: ACI for Software Defined Network (SDN), Hybrid Cloud, Information Technology Infrastructure Architecture, Ansible Automation Platform and Information Technology Data Center Services. Required: Five (5) years of IT experience and two (2) years of experience as an Architect, Service Lead or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing ACI for Software Defined Network (SDN), Hybrid Cloud, Information Technology Infrastructure Architecture, Ansible Automation Platform and Information Technology Data Center Services. $161,000.00 to $230,000.00 per year. Who You Are
Five (5) years of IT experience and two (2) years of experience as an Architect, Service Lead, or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing ACI for Software Defined Networks (SDN), Hybrid Cloud, Information Technology Infrastructure Architecture, Ansible Automation Platform, and Information Technology Data Center Services.
