What you will do:
• Design and implement solutions in the cloud and network security space
• Leverage Microsoft security capabilities to secure on-premises and cloud environments
• Apply industry and compliance best practices for protecting cloud and hybrid environments
• Evaluate client needs and tailor security plans accordingly
• Transform client security postures through innovative technologies
• Contribute to Avanade's global security offerings
• Stay at the cutting-edge of Microsoft Security technology
Skills and experiences
• Proven experience in designing and implementing Azure Security Controls to meet compliance or industry best practices
• Experience in designing and implementing Azure's native Network Security Controls
• Understanding of Network Virtual Appliances, Micro-segmentation, SASE, and Infrastructure as Code
• Knowledge of managing and governing cloud and network security controls within public and hybrid cloud architectures
• Understanding of business, privacy, security, and compliance challenges in secure development lifecycle
• Experience in security, incident, and event management solutions, particularly Azure Sentinel
• Good understanding of threat modelling, risk, and mitigation concerning applications
