Position Overview
Exciting opportunity to manage Technical Solution Executives supporting Autodesk's Midmarket sales serving customers in the AEC Industry. The Technical Solutions team's mission is to translate customer's business challenges into technical solutions that deliver business outcomes for our customers. The team is responsible for building technical relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This position will be responsible for a team of technical experts and driving execution to grow our Architecture, Engineering, and Construction business.

- Lead a team of Technical Solutions Executives providing ongoing feedback, coaching, training, and development
- Lead the activities of the Technical Solutions Executive team, including hiring, coaching, developing talent, team culture and performance management in alignment with the broader Technical Sales organization
- Coach teams to develop Whitespace Plans through technical closure to drive solution sales with a customer outcome focus
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve personal and company goals and objectives
Drive Business Results
- Lead and coach the team to execute on the technical sales strategy for assigned accounts
- Participate in forecast calls, account planning, and other management meetings
- Coach technical sales team members to identify, develop and drive sales pipeline in collaboration with Sales counterparts
- Develop and execute an annual business plan and strategies
- Develop ongoing, collaborative business relationships with extended internal teams for driving cross-team alignment and an optimized customer success
Establish Operating Model
- Implement effective tools and processes for Technical Solutions Executives
- Engage and inspire team members to look at near and long-term vision of the accounts, while helping to formulate the appropriate strategy for specific opportunities
- Acts as advisor to others to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems
- Develop/maintain technical knowledge of product line and company's industry focus
Coach / Influence
- Ability to lead projects and influence different stakeholders to success
- Drive Collaboration and Teamwork by interacting with customers and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key Autodesk senior leadership from marketing, strategy, product management, finance, sales operations, and legal in order to achieve key business initiatives
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years strategic sales or technical sales experience in the software industry or equivalent
- 4+ years of management experience
- 50%+ Travel Required

- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation requires evaluation of a variety of factors, blending strategic policies with an understanding of current business trends
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience with key sales functions, sales proposals, and presentations
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven sales environment and interfacing with all stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional and complex strategic situations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn Autodesk Product Lines and business models quickly

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $190,600 and $275,770. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries and/or OTE for sales roles, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
