Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join Autodesk's Worldwide Sales Finance team as the co-pilot who helps steer Autodesk towards an effective and efficient go-to-market outreach in India market. This position reports directly to Finance Director, APAC & India, and is the primary business partner to the India Senior Regional Director and the sales team.

The candidate must demonstrate independence, excellence and integrity in decision making and business judgment. A strong knowledge of strategic planning, project management, and financial planning and analysis is required, preferably in a software company.

  • Partnering directly with India Senior Regional Director as a member of line management staff to lead a long-term growth plan in India

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with Autodesk's financial objectives
    • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify growth opportunities and risks
    • Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring spending is aligned with strategic objectives and financial capabilities
    • Work closely with key stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, to drive alignment and support for strategic initiatives
  • Managing Annual Business planning process, allocating the targets, and creating quotas for the India territory sales representatives
  • Driving Weekly forecast process for India territory sales team across all segments
  • Analyzing business performance and trends to proactively provide business insights and advice to sales leaders
  • Driving Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Quarterly Business Planning (QBPs), focusing on key business performance metrics and improvement plans
  • Providing deal support in partnership with Deal Operations to develop agreements and agreement proposals
  • Assisting process improvement for India team's pipeline management through Salesforce
  • Leading the cross-functional teams to close fiscal quarters
  • Managing the OPEX budget (headcount and variable) for the India territory sales team
  • Build relationships with broader groups such as Legal, Client services, Revenue Accounting, Tax, etc. to support the Sales Teams
  • Playing the key role for compliance and fiduciary

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Accounting or Finance preferred; MBA or CPA a plus
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience with finance, with a significant portion focused on strategic planning and growth
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, ideally in a multinational technology company
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • Deep understanding of India's financial regulations and market dynamics
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools
  • Prior experience in a technology/software/SaaS company is a plus
  • Hands on experience with financial software (e.g. Business Objects, Qlikview, SAP, etc)
  • Ability to adapt to a complex and changing environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines
