Position Overview

As a Geo X Manager, you will be a critical factor in Autodesk's success beyond major metro cities. Reporting to the India VAD Manager, you will play a vital role in expanding Autodesk's reach in identified Geo X regions.

In recent years, the Geo X role has undergone a significant transformation, growing in both scope and impact. Your expertise will be pivotal in shaping strategies to meet our geography expansion goals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, and driving growth in emerging markets.

Responsibilities

Business Development in Identified Geo X Cities

  • Lead business development initiatives in Geo X cities, employing a hub-and-spoke approach
  • Develop and implement growth strategies and coverage plans to ensure sustainable market expansion

Partner Qualification and Scaling

  • Identify and qualify potential partners in Geo X cities, fostering strong collaborations to enhance business reach and engagement
  • Enable and scale partnerships, addressing complex challenges related to Geo X city dynamics, including partner relationships, customer needs, market coverage, and yield optimization

Cross-Functional Team Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams, including Marketing, License Compliance, and Channel Programs, to align strategies and achieve organizational goals
  • Support process alignment and ensure consistent engagement with partners

VAD Team Alignment

  • Collaborate with the extended VAD team to drive development across all hub-and-spoke regions
  • Foster effective communication to streamline operations and achieve regional business objectives

Funnel, Pipeline, and Forecast Accuracy

  • Ensure accuracy in sales funnel, pipeline, and forecasting while maintaining sales linearity
  • Focus on driving revenue through both track deals and run-rate opportunities to optimize performance and achieve sustained growth

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in Channel Management with expertise in working with Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and Distribution Partners, including developing new channels
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the B2B marketplace and the key factors for successful VARs to build and sustain profitable business across the region
  • Results-Driven: Proven success in achieving sales and customer outcomes in partnership with Distributors and VARs across diverse regions
  • Mindset: A "whatever it takes" attitude to consistently deliver results above quota
  • Work Environment: Willingness and ability to operate in a hybrid work environment
