Position Overview
The Global Revenue Operations (GRO) team is seeking a highly strategic, consultative, analytical, and organized individual to act as Chief of Staff to the VP of GRO and GRO's senior leadership team. This person will serve as a catalyst for strategic initiatives and team development while ensuring the execution of critical priorities across the organization.
The Chief of Staff (CoS) serves as a trusted advisor to the leader and will focus on driving special projects, operational efficiency, and organizational alignment. As a business partner, the CoS leads a culture of continuous performance improvement and accountability for the Executive and leadership staff. The successful candidate will be a resourceful leader with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills and the ability to drive commitment to clear goals and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Manage the annual strategic planning process for the GRO leadership team and facilitate the execution, communication, and review of these plans
- Lead special projects and programs that span GRO/COO and, in many cases, require cross-company collaboration. These projects include key programs and business initiatives that impact the company's overall success
- Act as an advisor to the GRO senior leadership team and VP by providing a sounding board on matters of strategy, execution, operations, and culture
- Distill and synthesize strategic discussions into discernible, executable plans and enable discussion while providing the connection points between strategic ideas
- Serve as an advisor/coach for leadership staff, and incorporate continuous development curriculum (in partnership with HRBP) into team cadence to spur a collaborative, high performance culture
- Partner to solve problems, identify and address root cause issues, and help leaders and teams overcome roadblocks to move forward with important business-critical projects
- Design and orchestrate the business cadence of the leadership team through facilitation of staff meetings, QBRs, offsites, extended leadership team meetings, etc. This could include team building sessions, organizational reviews, strategy discussions, and other strategic meetings & workshops
Minimum Qualifications
- MBA and/or graduate degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in Strategy, Consulting, or Communications
- Outstanding facilitation skills, strong business acumen, critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to steer staff and constituents towards decisions; Excellent relationship building, influencing, and communication skills
- Resourceful, flexible, and adaptable
- Proven track record of ensuring accountability and results
- Experience with technical concepts, product management, and influencing technical leaders
- Experience driving global and complex business transformations
- Experience developing and executing communications strategies, plans, programs and events
- Able to work collaboratively across multiple functions - including Engineering, Communications, Finance, Legal and HR
Preferred Qualifications
- Has demonstrated the ability to quickly build trust, credibility, and rapport with teams and people
- Has a natural inclination for developing strong relationships and networks and is able to work well with different personality types and multiple levels in a dynamic environment
- It is imperative that s/he is an excellent and persuasive communicator with exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Is able to manage conversations, synthesizing multiple points of view, and aligning on direction all in an impartial and professional way
- Is an energetic and detailed-oriented leader who can effectively manage and empower people to achieve results
- Have a strong work ethic, a commitment to clear goals and measurable outcomes

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $155,000 and $250,690. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
