Role and responsibilities

The Operations Platform Manager will lead the implementation and industrialization and perform as output leader for all modules of a product line in the Wilton Factory. This person will be responsible for NPI activities for products that have cross functional deliverables from the optics organizations and for supplier deliverables.Will follow the ASML new production introduction process including key decision milestones and design reviews. The candidate will act as point of contact for their assigned platform, reporting on production readiness, industrialization plans, proto schedules, and cost estimates to senior leadership. The candidate will lead matrixed cross functional teams to develop full product roadmaps to meet critical manufacturing KPIs such as move rate capability, cycle time and labor hours. This person will then drive their team to identify actions to meet targets identified in the roadmap.Will identify and escalate critical production issues that are limiting output and work with cross functional team to quickly resolve and recover output schedule.

  • Develop and drive manufacturingreadiness plans to introduce new products into production. This should include timelines, key milestones for prototype readiness, as well as ramp to pilot and volume.
  • Identify, clearly escalate, and mitigate output limiting issues
  • Identify and mitigate risks to program introduction
  • Develop the facility expansion plans, if needed, to handle new projects
  • Communicate clear plans to management
  • Manage the cross functional team
  • Own, clearly report on, and drive module output
  • Manage key metrics such as cost of goods, labor hours, cycle times, on time delivery, etc
  • Summarize budgetary needs for capital equipment and headcount.
  • Clear reporting and escalation of issues/ barriers to senior management
  • Contribute to the strategic long term planning and manufacturing roadmap of ASML.

Education & Experience
  • Minimum BS in a technical field
  • Minimum of (9) years experience in Project Leadership Role
  • Has interfaced with internal/external customers at a technical and task management level

Skills
  • Experience in new product introduction to a high volume manufacturing environment
  • Familiar with lean / six-sigma manufacturing methodologies
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and highly accurate
  • Highly motivated, takes initiative
  • Project Management skills and experience
  • Works well in a dynamic environment
  • Experience in ERP (preference SAP)
  • Strong Negotiation skills
  • Able to influence at high level within matrix organization
