The Senior Applications Engineer assists in leading system performance related technical escalation, driving time to containment and solution individually, with team members and leveraging resources to ensure class leading CS Application support on advanced EUV node, including DUV & YS, HVM in US region.

Roles and responsibilities
  • Participate and/or lead projects which are aimed at supporting our customer transition to a new technology node or ramp up a specific technology node.
  • Own workstreams within a larger project and able to develop and drive autonomously a project plan and chase a successful execution with regular updates to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Define (on-product) experiments and join customers in experimentation to ensure that they are performed in an efficient manner for accuracy and demonstrate ASMLs product value.
  • Define and conduct (on-product) data analysis to ensure that the correct conclusions are drawn from customers acquired experimental data and results reported to ASML and customer.
  • Translate a customer on-product issue into a potential lithography or metrology related problem statement, resolve these issues to help them maximize the performance and use of ASML products.
  • Meet with internal and external stakeholders to maintain two-way level of commitment to keep all involved and affected parties informed of progress.
  • Prepare technical presentations for customer meetings, provide new user support, and assists sales.

Education and experience
  • Master's degree or PhD in a technical discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years work experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum 5 years experience within the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.
  • Minimum 5 years experience with utilizing MATLAB, Python, JMP, or similar software.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in data analysis and analyzing technical data to summarize and present findings
  • Extensive experience with stakeholder and change management.

  • Up to 10% travel is include in the job for training and x-site support.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
