Position:
HR Specialist

Job Description:

As an HR Specialist at Arrow Electronics, you will be part of the HR Solution Center, supporting a variety of different activities related to regulatory and complex specialist work. You will be part of a team of three, learning the different complexities and nuances of the work from an experienced specialist and partnering on all programs and activities that the team administers.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • End-to-end I-9 administration including overseeing completion of new hire and reverifications via vendor portal and employee communications, running regular reporting, answering employee questions, and helping resolve issues on behalf of the employee with the vendor
  • International and domestic mobility program administration including developing quotes, delivering excellent communication and sharing key collateral with employee over the transfer/assignment/move lifecycle, advocating for the employee with the vendor, and ensuring adherence to standardize package elements
  • Severance administration including data upload/entry into Workday, managing and entering key updates throughout the process, processing final actions, and overseeing document return and signature process
  • Respond to questions from within HR on regulatory or complex administrative HR procedures and practices
  • Utilize Workday to process sensitive employee-related transactions
  • Continuously create and define process improvements focusing on standardization related to HR programs, initiatives and inquiries.
  • Participate in various process-improvement projects
  • Additional duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For:

  • Requires a four year degree plus a minimum of two years of experience within HR; or equivalent work experience
  • At least one year of experience of HR generalist work
  • Problem solving skills
  • Has developed HR-related skills through job-related training and on-the-job experience
  • Interested in continued career growth and expansion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Works independently; receives minimal guidance
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues
  • Identifies and resolves key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data
  • Takes a broad perspective to problems and spots new, less obvious solutions
  • Experience with process improvement and the ability to take ownership of processes when applicable
  • Ability to be professional in all situations
  • Experience in a high-volume HR Shared Services team

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid: 3 days in office/2days work from home

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
