What You will Be Doing
Job Objective:
To manage purchasing related activities and communication with defined suppliers, according to agreed service levels and defined business processes.
Job Description:
The role requires ensuring all tasks are performed in alignment with the company's vision and values.
Responsibilities include managing both EDI and manual purchase order entries, re-planning and overseeing supplier backlogs through confirmations, rescheduling, cancellations, and reconciliations according to demand and supplier agreements. The role also involves managing VMI buffer levels, maintaining clear communication with suppliers regarding order backlogs, shipping, and tracking, and prioritizing urgent shipments.

Additionally, the role is accountable for handling supplier receipts, resolving shipping discrepancies, ensuring accurate invoicing, and addressing any discrepancies.
Monitoring supplier on-time delivery, managing manufacturing inventory levels, overseeing non-conformities at receiving, and supporting the implementation of new suppliers in the Hub program are also key duties. Participation in supplier meetings is required on occasion
Functional Areas:
Quality of Supplier backlog, Receipts, Price discrepancy, Buffer fulfilment, Excess reporting,
Process time for purchase order placement, backlog changes and for supplier reports.
Focus areas of servicing: Global Team, Global and Regional Program Management, Marketing, Global Service Centers, Process Engineering, Finance, Global Warehouse & Logistics.
What We Are Looking For
- Any graduation with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Electronic Component Industry.
- Highly organized and methodical, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experienced in Oracle systems and commodity purchasing, with proven problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Demonstrates high levels of ownership and accountability in all assigned tasks.
- A great team player with excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Willing to work in a challenging, multicultural environment and capable of responding quickly and professionally in high-pressure commercial settings.
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
