The Role

The asset analyst is responsible for the integrity of the information in the asset repositories.

Specific responsibilities are:

• Reviewing and resolving all asset discrepancies or variances

• Correlating contract information with asset repository records

• Verifying the accuracy of asset information from other processes.

• Update asset records based on incidents/tasks/requirements received

• Attach the documentation and/or artifacts required at each stage of the process to the asset record

• Identify areas for process improvement and communicate them to the Asset Manager

• Support asset retirement and recording of activity results.

• Manage insurance procedures

• Manage theft/loss reports

• Safeguard the documentation associated with the assets at any process stage.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

• 3 years of experience with:

- License management (including software license compliance)

- Inventory management (includes physical components)

- Allocation of available assets to meet approved requests

- Retirement of obsolete assets

- Suggesting the request for additional assets (for example, if there is a policy of maintaining minimum inventory stock levels for the standard asset item that is frequently needed)
