Position Summary
Arcesium is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst - Client Implementation and Data Strategy (Finance) to join our Client and Partner Development - Forward Deployed Data Strategist (FDDS) team in Lisbon. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end client implementation on the Arcesium platform. The candidate will also work to bridge the gap between Arcesium platform and clients' business requirements. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment, demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, and possess fluency in English to deliver seamless client experiences and drive successful implementations.
What You will do:
- Client implementation on Arcesium Platform: Perform end-to-end implementation activities, including data gathering, gap analysis, data transformation, loading, reconciliation and provide parallel support.
- Data Analysis: analyze Balance Sheet and P&L movements, resolve discrepancies with relevant stakeholders and ensure data accuracy.
- Stakeholder Management: Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, clearly articulate service offerings, escalate issues as needed, and drive meaningful, positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with Technology Teams: Partner with tech teams on special projects, creating bespoke report requirements and testing new features/product releases through proper UAT.
- Expand expertise across various Asset Classes: Deepen knowledge on different asset classes, focusing on lifecycle events and accounting practices.
- Process Optimization: Continuously enhance knowledge of the Arcesium platform and work towards refinement of existing processes and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- 3 to 7 years of solid experience in client onboarding / implementations paired with in depth domain knowledge in Fund Accounting OR Middle Office OR Trade Operations OR Treasury.
- Deep Solid understanding of Trade Operations OR Lifecycle of Asset Classes (including OTC's & derivatives) OR Settlements & Reconciliations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel. Experience with VBA macros or Python is a significant advantage.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve reconciliation breaks between counterparties or admin.
- Strong analytical & critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of handing complex projects, stakeholder and project management will be added advantage.
- Strong people skills with a collaborative attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and take on additional operational tasks.
- Willingness to work in a very dynamic environment and meet tight timeline.
- Fluency in English.
- Have a valid work permit to work in the country.
