Position Summary

Arcesium seeks an exceptional Enterprise Technology Intern to join our Technology team for the summer. The Corporate Technology team is responsible for all aspects of Arcesium's internal technology needs. The goal of our summer internship program is to give exposure to the projects and environment at Arcesium to students with an interest in systems infrastructure studying computer science, computer engineering, and other STEM majors. Both undergraduate and graduate students of all years are welcome and encouraged to apply. The Enterprise Technology Intern will work directly with experienced full-time engineers responsible for providing the technology solutions to meet the challenges of an ever-growing hybrid work force. The role requires a mix of systems engineering, scripting, and business acumen.

Responsibilities

- Help implement the next-generation architecture and automation to create an effective and secure hybrid work environment
- Work with experienced engineers to evaluate, test and deploy unified communications solutions
- Help reduce operational overhead through automation to reduce or eliminate manual tasks

Qualifications

- The ideal candidate will possess a broad grasp of theory, practice, and interest in areas such as automation, operating systems (Windows and Linux), networking, security, cloud computing, systems administration, and software development
- Strong thinking and communication skills, both written and verbal, is required
- Have a strong desire to solve business problems using technology
- Technologies we use include: Linux, Windows, PowerShell, Python, Active Directory, Office365, AWS/Azure, SSH, Ansible, Git, Slack, Zoom

The expected monthly salary for this position is $10,000. Our compensation package also includes a one-time housing stipend.
