Job Description

The Responsible Sourcing Engagement Manager is a key role focused on program integration and execution to support team productivity, business growth, and retention efforts. This role will be responsible for developing tools and resources to help our operations and clients establish, embed, and deliver responsible sourcing commitments and solutions.

The manager will also help evaluate sourcing programs and lead projects assigned by the VP to support responsible sourcing progress and program marketing efforts. Candidates should have proven experience in responsible sourcing or a related field, strong project management and organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to develop and implement effective tools and resources.

Job Responsibilities

This position is based in Philadelphia, PA.

Job Responsibilities Include:
? Provide support for requests for proposal, client meetings, client business reviews requests for information, program execution and other engagements relating to responsible sourcing program initiatives, plan development, marketing, and partnerships.

? Manage data analytics activities for the team, including the establishment and integration of KPIs, as well as data collection and analysis for contract negotiations and supplier assessments.

? Establish and implement trainings, tools, resources, and collateral to promote responsible sourcing programs. Focus on delivering and executing Aramark?s Responsible Sourcing goals, commitments, and initiatives, ensuring alignment with client targets, business preferences, and expectations.

? Provide subject matter expertise on responsible sourcing priorities, including inclusive sourcing, local procurement, and sustainable sourcing issues.

? Conduct benchmarking, policy, and other research for purposes of aligning programs with external developments and expectations.

? Partner closely with stakeholder internal and external groups to link strategic commitments and targets with business delivery.

? Assist with the preparation and distribution of new regional program announcements and supplier communication drafts.

? Partner with other functional groups to manage and optimize processes and systems that support the exchange of vendor information and reporting of supply chain sustainability, local spend and supplier diversity activities.

? Assist with management of Third-Party analytics partners that support local spend, supplier diversity and sustainable sourcing reporting efforts.

? Oversee content management and site development for the Responsible Sourcing intranet and external pages

? Serve as a liaison between the responsible sourcing team and the communications, marketing, growth, and IT functions. Assist on projects by gathering requirements needed for system modifications, content development, reporting enhancements, and the implementation of data strategies to support responsible sourcing analytics.

? Perform ad hoc requests, maintain logs for meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries, and other administration tasks request as needed.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor?s degree related to economics/business/supply chain/sustainability/environment coupled with minimum 3 years? related experience
? An advanced degree (i.e., MBA, Master?s) is a plus.
? Superior analytical, problem-solving, organization, and communication skills are required.
? Knowledge of and experience with social and environmental matters and responsible/local sourcing; As well as understands business and operations of large food / hospitality company is preferred.
? Strong detail orientation and the ability to work independently while prioritizing multiple projects concurrently is essential.
? Resilient, and able to adapt to challenges, identify underlying concerns, share ideas and develop effective responses or elevate to higher management.
? Demonstrated ability to work across complex organizations.
? Leadership presence with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
? Organized with a strong attention to detail and follow through.
? Excellent Microsoft Office skills are required.
? Experience with BI Tools and work management platforms (i.e., Smartsheets, Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI, Cognos) is a plus

Travel:
Office based. Possibly 5%-10% travel.
