The Maintenance Manager is responsible for supervising and managing all unit activities related to facility maintenance and engineering services. In this job, 75% of the work will be focused on operations and 25% on administrative tasks.

Job Responsibilities

? Leverages Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop team members to their fullest potential

? Ensures safety standards in all operations
? Customarily and regularly directs the work of at least two full-time employees or their equivalent
? Makes or influences employment decisions affecting the team, including hiring, promotions, and other changes in status
? Responsible for developing and executing maintenance solutions to meet customer needs
? Leads, mentors, engages and develops teams to maximize their contributions, including recruiting, assessing, training, coaching, and managing performance
? Coach employees by creating a shared understanding about what needs to be achieved and how it is to be achieved
? Rewards and recognizes employees
? Responsible for the training and development of the Maintenance and Grounds teams including hourly supervisors and employees.
? Ensures safety and sanitation standards in operation are compliant with Aramark and client regulations
? Management of a team of 8
? Oversight and Management of a Work Order and/or CMMS system
? Knowledge of CMMS systems
? Basic understanding of Snow removal operations is highly desired, but not required
? Responsible for Maintenance and Grounds Operations at 3 Lake Tahoe Properties.
? Manages and Budgets effectively while reducing cost
? Owns the Safety Program with Daily and Weekly Safety Briefs and Observations
? Collaborates with all teams, particularly with Human Resources, Finance, and Operations leadership.

- Identifies client needs and communicates operational progress
- Delivers and models WEST as a foundation for excellent customer service

Qualifications

? Requires at least 5 years of experience in a wide range of maintenance including, but not limited to HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Groundskeeping
? Certified HVAC Technician, Licensed Plumber, Certified Electrician or similar blue collar certification or license is highly desired
? Refrigerant experience is highly desired
? Historic Site Preservation experience is highly desired
? Basic Understanding of Recreation Vehicle (RV) sites is preferred
? Requires 1-2 years of experience in a management role
? Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
? This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling up to 50 pounds and/or extended walking and standing
? Ability to manage as part of a larger team or manage function independently, without direct supervision
? The ability to multi-task is a must
? Training in government safety regulations a plus where applicable
? Ability to work long hours in inclement weather and emergency situations, such as snow removal operations, storms, etc.
? Ability to effectively communicate on radios; and hear over equipment noise
? Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, vendors, and the public
? Ability to wear a respirator and/or self-contained breathing apparatus as outlined in the Industrial Standard for Respirator Use
? Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
